Reitway Global Launches Income-Focused Global REIT ETF on the JSE

Reitway Global has expanded its Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) offering with the introduction of the Reitway Global Property Income Prescient ETF (JSE Code: RWINC). This marks Reitway’s first income-focused ETF, designed to deliver higher immediate yield extracted from the Global REIT universe.

This new product underscores Reitway’s commitment to addressing evolving investor needs by combining active and passive strategies to offer tailored solutions for growth and income-focused investors.

“Our diverse product range reflects deep insights into investor preferences. We understand that no single fund can meet all objectives, so we aim to provide specialized options across the Global REIT spectrum,” said Greg Rawlins, CEO of Reitway Global. “The Income ETF exemplifies our guiding principle: Acknowledging Passive, Embracing Active.”

Unlike Reitway’s existing array of ETFs which prioritize total return, this new ETF is specifically tailored for income-focused investors. It tracks a unique custom index co-developed with Global Property Research (Amsterdam) and Solactive (Frankfurt), leveraging their expertise in REITs, Index calculation and Maintenance to meet current market demands.

The objective of the RWINC ETF is clear:

  • Higher Immediate Yield: To offer an elevated level of income right from the start, appealing to investors who prioritize cash flow.
  • Mitigating Capital Loss: Relative to the Global Property sector’s market movements.

This launch highlights Reitway Global’s commitment to delivering diversified, thoughtfully constructed products that cater to both growth-oriented and income-focused investors.
