Nikki Visser, responsible for operations at Reitway Global, attained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of South Africa in 2005. She started her career at Standard Bank Trustee Services where she gained exposure to the financial markets industry, focussing on fund compliance for Collective Investment Schemes.

In 2008 she joined JP Morgan Worldwide Securities Services, which later became Curo Fund Services in 2012, where she furthered her knowledge in financial markets by specialising in reconciliations, and later, corporate actions for institutional clients.

She joined Reitway Global in November 2014.

GREG RAWLINS

Greg Rawlins, CEO of Reitway Global, qualified as a CA (SA) at Deloitte’s in 1984, before leaving the profession to embark on a career in the Information Technology industry. This was followed by a move in 1998 into the investment and property arena. Greg gained exposure to investment finance and asset management whilst being the CEO of a mid-sized investment company.

However, commercial property which started out as an attraction became a passion. He left investment management in 2003 to focus on his own commercial property portfolio, but the ultimate goal was to develop a global listed property investment methodology.

In early 2009 the asset management division of a bank provided an opportunity to publicly test the performance of the investment strategy. The result was the best performance of a global listed property fund over a three year period.

The prospect of creating a company specializing in the management of global listed property portfolios presented itself in 2012. This was the birth of Reitway Global with Greg being the founding shareholder.

MARIUS DU PREEZ

PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Marius du Preez holds a BCom Accounting Sciences degree from the University of Pretoria (2009) and a BCompt (Honours) from Unisa (2010). He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) after successfully completing his Board Exams.

Following his studies, he completed his articles with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Pretoria in 2013 before relocating to Cape Town in 2014 to join Oasis Group Holdings.

With expertise spanning accounting, taxation, auditing, management reporting, compliance, financial services, and portfolio management, Marius has built a solid foundation of knowledge and experience in the financial sector.

In September 2016, he joined Reitway Global as an Investment Administrator. By July 2017, he had advanced to Assistant Portfolio Manager and, in May 2022, was promoted to Portfolio Manager. Now the most senior PM on the team, he leads REIT research and modelling, oversees portfolio administration, and manages trade execution and cash flow operations.

A driven professional, Marius is committed to continuous growth and excellence in his field.

Marius has completed CFA Level 1.

Tharan Aheer

Global REIT and Portfolio Construction Analyst
Bcomm (Hons), Dip. Acc, CA(SA)

Tharan completed matric at the Deutsche Schule Hermannsburg in KZN before attending the University of Cape Town, where he specialised in Accounting and Portfolio Management.
He began his career in financial services in 2014, gaining extensive experience in auditing and accounting and subsequently qualifying as a Chartered Accountant CA(SA). Additionally, Tharan developed entrepreneurial skills working in his family’s wholesale and retail business in Greytown.
In the real estate sector, he served as a commercial property broker at the Infinity Group, with a focus on fuel stations and shopping centres. Tharan joined Reitway in 2024 as a global REIT analyst, responsible for company research, portfolio monitoring and attribution analysis.
Beyond finance, he is passionate about health and fitness, helping clients make healthier lifestyle choices. 
Tharan is currently a CFA Level 3 candidate.
 

CONSTANCE CLOETE

ACCOUNTANT
B.COMM, DIP. ACC, CA (SA)

Constance studied at the University of Stellenbosch from 1999 to 2001 where she obtained her Bacc degree (Bachelor of Accounting Science) and became a member of the Golden Key National Honour society. Whilst completing her articles at a Cape Town auditing firm, Gross, Hendler and Frank, located in the CBD, from 2003 to 2005 she studied part time and obtained her Bcompt(Hons) degree (Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science) from UNISA during 2004 & qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005 after completing her articles with Gross, Hendler and Frank.

She stayed on with Gross, Hendler and Frank as an Assistant Manager during 2006 & 2007 specialising in the auditing process of various companies, in particular manufacturing concerns.

In 2007 she went into commerce by joining Lewis Stores (Pty) Ltd as the Financial Manager of the Lewis Group - Listed Furniture Retailer, head office located in Woodstock, Cape Town (Lewis Stores, Best Home & Electric Stores, Lifestyle Living Stores, My Home Stores & Monarch Insurance Ltd))

She obtained valuable experience with regards to the financial management process, budgets & forecasting of the Retail Group located in South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland & Namibia, and was responsible in particular for the management accounts and statutory obligations of the Insurance company.

In 2012 whilst pursueing a career change she joined Cape Span South Africa (Pty) Ltd - Exporter of Fruit, Located in Bellville, Cape Town on a 9 month fixed term contract as management accountant, where she was a key member of the finance team producing group management and board accounts, also assisting in the budget and forecasting process as well as compiling financial data for business planning.

In 2012 she also started her own accounting and tax practice called CC Financial Services, located in Durbanville, Cape Town and has since administered the financial and tax affairs of Reitway Global (Pty) Ltd.
