Reitway Global will launch its first property ETF on the JSE on 25 May, according to Reitway Global CEO Greg Rawlins. The fund manager is also looking to list a similar property ETF on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).  ‘We are looking at listing an ETF on the JSE and then launching another ETF on the NYSE that will track the same index,’ he told Citywire South Africa. Reitway Global CIO Garreth Elston said during a webinar that global retail and office property valuations have rebounded this year as investors have picked up depressed assets. In 2020, global retail property lost 21%, and office property declined by nearly 14% last year.
